ABOUT THE ARTIST

Chris was born in Manchester and studied art at Blackpool College and Newcastle Upon Tyne. 

After graduating, Chris worked in various jobs from spotlight operator at Blackpool Tower Circus to finally a more long-term career as a Joiner cabinetmaker before settling for art Teaching in Leicester.

Continually painting and exhibiting, including a one man show at Leicester Universities, Attenborough Arts Centre and the Bernard Chauchet Contemporary Art Gallery London.

Chris was contacted by Sky Arts to appear on Landscape Artist of the Year (Episode 3 of Landscape Artist of the Year 2023- Castle Ward).
