"Reclining Model 224" is a powerful acrylic on canvas that merges bold geometry with striking figuration. The reclining woman, rendered in monochrome tones with flowing red hair, is draped in a dress alive with intricate, rhythmic patterns of teal, orange, black, and white. The interplay of her still, sculptural form against the dynamic motifs creates a dialogue between serenity and energy.
The work explores themes of femininity, strength, and presence, offering a visual tension that feels both modern and timeless. Achamallah’s use of vibrant contrast and cubist-inspired structure transforms the figure into both subject and symbol, inviting collectors to see beyond representation into layers of emotion and identity. This painting is a statement piece, designed to hold the gaze and enrich any collection with its bold character.
