"Reclining Model 124" is a striking acrylic on canvas that blends bold abstraction with timeless elegance. The composition features a reclining figure whose pale, sculptural form contrasts dramatically with the vivid energy of her patterned dress. The swirling geometric motifs in reds, purples, teals, and yellows animate the surface, suggesting movement and rhythm, while her calm expression and pose anchor the work in stillness.
Achamallah’s style, rich in cubist and expressionist influences, emphasizes both structure and emotion. The orange and green backdrop amplifies the tension between figure and ground, enhancing the work’s visual impact. This painting is more than a portrait; it is a study of balance, identity, and form, offering collectors a piece that is as thought-provoking as it is visually captivating.
