About The Artwork

Capture the spirited charm of a classic companion with this unique, mixed-media portrait of a long-haired Jack Russell. This one-of-a-kind artwork beautifully blends traditional painting with modern textile artistry, set against a deep, swamp-green background inspired by classic English country style. The artist skillfully contrasts the rich, moody backdrop with a detailed half-body portrait of the white and tan hound.
Hand-stitched pieces of recycled fabric and meticulous long-thread embroidery bring the dog's wire-haired, textured coat to life. Every element of salvaged cloth is carefully sewn to create striking depth, rich texture, and a tactile, three-dimensional quality that echoes old-world portraiture with a contemporary twist. It is a perfect statement artwork for dog
lovers, art enthusiasts, and collectors of contemporary sustainable art.
