Balloon #20
Descriptions:
Balloon #20 presents a surreal and uplifting vision where movement becomes a playful study of repetition and release. Printed on C-Type Fuji Crystal Archive photographic matte paper, this limited edition artwork brings together three dynamic poses of a single dancer set against a bright white field. The composition feels weightless, as if each figure is suspended in a moment of pure instinct.
The red balloons above introduce a subtle sense of joy and symbolism, echoing themes of freedom, aspiration, and emotional lightness. The contrast between the dancer’s flowing black dress and the open space around her creates a striking visual rhythm that draws the eye from left to right. This piece offers collectors a visually clean and imaginative work filled with energy and poetic simplicity.

About The Artwork

Cody took Balloon, as a metaphor of dancers' fantasy to where their bodies will lead them to - always unimagined, yet this uncertainty is exactly where a sense of freedom is felt.
